Aaffordable housing stats
I would like to request the following information under the Freedom of Information Act:
1.) What is your current affordable housing target expressed as a percentage?
2.) What percentage of the total new homes built since 1 April 2013 are affordable?
3.) What percentage of the total new homes built in the local authority area over the five years prior to 1 April 2013 were affordable. Please express this year on year.
4.) How many applications have you received to renegotiate the number of affordable homes required in Section 106 agreements since the Growth and Infrastructure Act became law in April 2013? Please also break this down month on month up to 31 January 2015. If possible, please also state how many applications were made by housing associations.
5.) How many of these applications successfully resulted in the loss or gain in the number of affordable homes? Please state:
a.) The total number of affordable units that have been lost or gained as a result of the renegotiations
b.) How this compares with the number originally specified
6.) How many applications to renegotiate the affordable housing numbers outlined in section 106 agreements has the council received for each of the past five years preceding 1 April 2013?
7.) How many of these applications successfully resulted in the loss or gain of affordable homes? Please state:

Current policy (Local Plan Policy HO2) is to secure a 40% element of
affordable housing on residential development, capable of producing 10 or
more dwellings.
2.) What percentage of the total new homes built since 1 April 2013 are affordable?
April 2013-March 2014 – 23% of all completed units (49% on sites of 10 units of more)
Currently data not available beyond March 2014
3.) What percentage of the total new homes built in the local authority area over the five years prior to 1 April 2013 were affordable. Please express this year on year.
2012/13 31% of all completed units (54% on sites of 10 units of more)
2011/12 21% of all completed units (74% on sites of 10 units of more)
2010/11 3% of all completed units (5% on sites of 10 units of more)
2009/10 26% of all completed units (45% on sites of 10 units of more)
2008/09 35% of all completed units (52% on sites of 10 units of more)
