Dear access2information,

I am demanding again that Wycombe District Council follow up its earlier reply and provide a formal response/answers to my Freedom of Information (FOI) Request.

Wycombe District Council should not brush the matter of Homelessness and Rough Sleeping in High Wycombe under the carpet and use Security Personnel to wage war on sick and desperate people and deny them the chance to grap some sleep at night at available spaces around the High Wycombe town centre

Therefore, I request that Wycombe District Council confirm its current policy on Homelessness in High Wycombe with particular reference to rough Sleeping in and around the High Wycombe Town centre, to confirm the number of security personnel or officers currently employed to harass and deter rough sleepers from using empty spaces in High Wycombe town centre and how much such policy/action has cost or costing the Council.

Yours sincerely,

Mr Belbari Giadom

Good afternoon

I am writing in connection with your request for information under the
Freedom of information Act 2000 for rough sleepers, which I received on 6
August. I apologise for the short delay in response.

This request has been handled under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. I
can confirm that Wycombe District Council does hold information falling
within the description specified in your request.

Please confirm your current policy on dealing with the Homeless in High
Wycombe with particular reference to Rough Sleepers;
We have no current policy on dealing with the homeless with particular
reference to rough sleepers in High Wycombe. Our off-street parking orders
do contain reference to behaviour in our car parks, including sleeping.
They can be found here:

How many Security Officers are employed to Harass and Deter Rough Sleepers
from using spaces in the Centre of High Wycombe at night and How Much it
has cost the Council to fund this Policy.
We do not employ any officers to ‘harass and deter’ rough sleepers from
using the centre of High Wycombe at night. Therefore there has been no
cost to the council to fund this policy.
