A request made about alleged fraud in Staffordshire Fire Service - Mr M Jenkinson v Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service: 1305588/2023?

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Staffordshire Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Staffordshire Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner,

Can the Police Fire and Crime Commissioner, Ben Adams, answer the following questions please? Please substitute the appropriate person within the office of the PFCC, instead of the PFCC, if this helps you to give the give the correct responses, under the law.

1) Is the PFCC aware of the Employment Tribunal Case of
Mr M Jenkinson v Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service: 1305588/2023?

2) Is the PFCC aware of the Judgment? Please find the Judgment at the following link: https://www.gov.uk/employment-tribunal-d...

3) Is the PFCC aware of the allegations of fraud which were made during the hearing, in July 2024, and can be observed in the Judgment on Page 7, at point 23?

4) Has the PFCC read document 937 of the bundle, which relates to the statement of Ian Ralph Rhodes about the fraud which he alleges was committed?

5) If the PFCC has not seen document 937, does he require me to provide it to him, or any other documents which may be helpful?

6) As a result of knowledge of all of the above, has the PFCC informed the police of this alleged fraud or is he aware that anyone from Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service has otherwise informed the police about this alleged fraud?

7) If the police have been informed of this alleged fraud, can the PFCC inform me, or direct me how to find out, what the police have done about it?

8) If the PFCC was otherwise unaware of this alleged fraud, can he confirm what he now intends to do about it?

9) Can the PFCC even disclose if there was an internal investigation carried out in SFRS after this alleged fraud came to light in July 2024, or if he does not know the answer to this question can he advise me who to put that question to so that I may gain the answer to that question?

10) Will the PFCC examine the whole Judgment and determine if witnesses SFRS produced to the Court did answer honestly, under oath, in all aspects of their testimony and give assurances that the PFCC is fully appraised of every detail in the Judgment and assure me that everything said under oath was honest and true?

11) Does the PFCC require me to engage further with his office to ascertain the truth of this matter? If so please provide a reference and a method for me to make contact with a relevant person.

12) Has the PFCC read my statement provided to this Employment Tribunal in July 2024? I feel this is covered by earlier questions.

13) Would the PFCC like me to provide my statement to the Employment Tribunal, to it? Confirmation of whether the PFCC has seen my statement to the ET or not, would be helpful.

May I wish the PFCC, and his office, a Happy New Year. I very much look forward to a 2025 where we all celebrate the Nolan Principles, with vigour.

Yours faithfully,

Robert Moss
