A list of empty residential properties across Rhondda Cynon Taff

We're waiting for Andrew George to read recent responses and update the status.

Dear Rhondda Cynon Taff Council,

I am writing under the freedom of information act 2000 concerning the number of empty properties across Rhondda Cynon Taf together with the postal addresses.

I am writing to ask you to supply details of:
1 The number of addresses
2 address (including street number and postcode) of homes that:

a) have been empty for over 6 months
b) have been empty for under 6 months

I would request this information is delivered electronically in the form of a spreadsheet - as a list of the addresses of all the empty properties.

If you cannot provide all lines of the address, the ward area and postcode and type of property will suffice.

If you are unable to provide this information please advise me as to how to refine my request to make the information easier to find.

If you are only able to partially disclose the information please do so - and if some of the information is already readily available please direct me as to where to find it.

Yours faithfully,

Andrew George

Yours faithfully,

Andrew George

Dear Mr George,

We refer to your Freedom of Information Request in respect of the number

2 address (including street number and postcode) of homes that:

a) have been empty for over 6 months
ANSWER: 2610

ANSWER: 1585

In relation to part 2 of your request - 2) address (including street

This is a qualified exemption and we have therefore applied the Public

Council's desire to be open and transparent in all its dealings against
the prevention of crime.

In accordance with Section 17 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 ("the
Act") this e-mail acts as a Refusal Notice.

If you are unhappy with the way your request for information has been
handled, you can request a review of the Council’s response. If you wish
to exercise this right, please set out in writing your grounds and send
your appeal to Mrs Julie Llewellyn. She may be reached at
