A-level grade thresholds May/June 2014 and October/November 2014

The request was refused by University of Cambridge.

Dear University of Cambridge,

Could you please send me the grade thresholds for AICT, Economics and Business Studies for A-Level CIE from May/June and October/November 2014

Yours faithfully,

Jean-Armand du Plessis

Jenny Elliot,

Thank you for your email.

Unfortunately our 2014 grade thresholds are not quite ready for
publication. We are planning to release a large number of our 2014 grade
thresholds on our website ([1]www.cie.org.uk) for public download and they
will appear there as soon as practicable.

Please bear with us whilst we get this up and running – we hope it will be
a useful tool for our candidates. In the meantime we have a number of
other materials available on our website including a number of past papers
and mark schemes which we hope will be helpful to you.

Formally, in answer to your request under the Freedom of Information Act
2000, I must state that as the information you have requested is intended
for future publication by us we are satisfied that we can rely on s22 of
the Act in asking you to wait until its release.

You can search for the text of the Act by following the link here:

I hope that I have provided a clear explanation of the situation but if
you are dissatisfied with the handling of your request, you can ask for an
internal review. Internal review requests should be submitted within two
months of the date of receipt of the response to your original request and
should be addressed to: Jackie Rippeth, Group Finance Director, Cambridge
Assessment, 1 Hills Road, Cambridge, CB1 2EU
