A-level and IB grades achieved by those who enrolled on the LLB (M100) course in autumn 2019
Hello,
I would like to request the following information about your single honours law course (please exclude any data on joint honours law courses from your reply).
1. The number of students who enrolled in 2019.
2. A complete, anonymised list of the A-level results achieved by each of the students who enrolled in 2019. Please break this down by student (e.g. Candidate 1 got A*AA, Candidate 2 got AAA, etc.)
3. A complete, anonymised list of the IB total points achieved by each of the students who enrolled in 2019. Please break this down by student (e.g. Candidate 1 got 35 points out of 45, Candidate 2 got 38 points out of 45, etc.)
Thank you in advance for your reply!
Best Regards,
John Dimitroulopoulos

We have assessed your request and can confirm that we are unable to provide information in relation to “each of the students” as the data requested for each of your questions would relate to an individual on a line by line basis (even if anonymised). We believe this information is exempt under section 40(2) of the Act, personal information, as disclosure would breach data protection regulations. Providing it could enable the individuals involved to be identified and these individuals would have a reasonable expectation that their information will not be disclosed.
We recognise that from the information provided here alone, it would be difficult to identify the individuals concerned. Nevertheless, under the remits of data protection regulations, we note that personal data constitutes that from which the Data Controller can identify an individual. Therefore there may be other information which you could obtain from the University, either through further Freedom of Information requests or other means, that could be used to identify the individuals here.
We would be happy to re-consider any new request which would not have implications in relation to personal information.
If you are unhappy with the way in which your request has been handled and wish to request a review of our response or to make a complaint, please see the attached information sheet and form.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any enquiries regarding this email.
Yours sincerely,
Karen Page
