Incoming request 
 
Andrew Bridgen MP wrote and sent a letter to the Prime Minister on 7th August 2023, which 
I  understand  to  be  the  only  letter  of  that  date  which  was  sent  by  Mr  Bridgen  to  the  Prime 
Minister. 
 
The said correspondence was released into the public domain, which is understandable, as it 
related to an issue which is of significant public interest. 
 
In the circumstances and in the order for the Prime Minister to serve the public interest in a 
positive and transparent manner and indeed, be seen to do so, please advise; 
 
(1)  of  the  reason  why  the  Prime  Minister  has  not  yet  replied  substantively  to,  nor  indeed 
acknowledged Mr Bridgen's said letter and in addition, provide any internal communications 
from within the Prime Minister's Office relating to reasons for such a delay in response, and 
 
(2)  if  known,  when  Mr  Bridgen  might  anticipate  receiving  the  Prime  Minister's  substantive 
response to the said letter.
