A copy of the fire certificate for Prestatyn Town Council Municipal building.
Dear North Wales Fire and Rescue Service,
Please may I under the Freedom of Information ask either Simon Smith, chief fire officer and/or Dawn Docx, deputy fire officer:-
To cover the point/s below but not to be limited by them.
1) The name and address of the chair of the Membership of Authority, and the authority whom pays their wage.
2) A copy of the fire certificate for Prestatyn Town Council Municipal building. To include risk assessment for disabled users; including old, in-firmed or juvenile's entering the building, with evacuation plan in the event of fire.
3) Could I also have North Wales Fire and Rescue Service legal point of view on recording any and all users entering Prestatyn Town Council Municipal building and any other such public buildings.
Entering and leaving on a purely health and safety aspect pertaining to fire risk and monitoring/controlling such risk as both good practice and following any laws related to public gathering places/buildings.
Thank you
To avoid expense and for speed of reply. Email attachment and/or PDF documentation would be acceptable and preferred. Thank you.
Please let me know if my question needs clarifying to avoid further questions that might arise due to ambiguous answers. I'll be happy to resupply in a format that will let you either supply photocopy/PDF information (dependent on quantity) or supply information without the need to edit any answers you feel I have not asked. Or brief answers that could arise to second and third
questions.
Once again thank you for your help.

Dear Mr Bourne,
Further to your recent Freedom of Information Act Request regarding the
Chair of the North Wales Fire and Rescue Authority and documentation
relating to Prestatyn Town Council Municipal Building, the response from
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service is as follows:
In answer to Question 1, details of all the members of the Fire and Rescue
Authority are available by clicking on the `Membership of the Authority'
link on this page -
[1]http://www.nwales-fireservice.org.uk/pag... - on the North
Wales Fire and Rescue Service (NWF&RS) web site.
With regard to your request for a copy of the Fire Certificate for
Prestatyn Town Council Municipal Building (Question 2), the requirement
for such a document was abolished on 1^st October 2006 with the
introduction of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order, more details of
which are also available on the NWF&RS web site here -
[2]http://www.nwales-fireservice.org.uk/pag.... The
`responsible person' within a building is required to produce a risk
assessment and a copy is not held by NWF&RS as a matter of course, so I
would have to redirect you to Prestatyn Town Council for that element of
your request.
Finally, the `legal point-of-view' of NWF&RS regarding persons entering
public buildings (Question 3) is also contained within the Regulatory
Reform (Fire Safety) Order, a link to which can be found in my previous
paragraph.
