We have responded very thoroughly with all Monmouth County Council HR policies for all employees of Monmouthshire - we do not have different for policies for different cohorts of staff. In relation to the policies noted, supervision or sickness would be covered in the Performance Appraisal Policy and Attendance Management Policy. I can confirm there are no other policies that sit within HR.

I attach the Internal Review guidance for your perusal, please let us know if you'd like to proceed with a formal review.

I've attached guidance on the Internal Review process for your perusal. You may submit a request for an Internal Review if you feel one of the following is applicable:

A request for a review may involve a:
• request for a review of a decision to withhold information
• complaint about the handling of a request for information
• complaint about the Council’s publication scheme

An applicant is entitled to complain to the Council if:
• it is believed that the application was not dealt with within the 20 working day time limit
• we have not confirmed whether the information is held or not
• all the information requested is not received by you
• a reason for the request being refused is not received
• it is felt that exemptions have been wrongly applied
• it is felt that a fee has been wrongly applied

A query asking why we do not hold requested information is not a valid reason for an Internal Review. If you are unhappy with the way the Council operates and what information is held, I would suggest you make a complaint to our Customer Relations team. They can be contacted on [email address].

If you are suggesting we hold information which we have not released to you, that would be a valid reason for an Internal Review.

Can you please clarify under which of the grounds above you are requesting an Internal Review?

Please also note that the 40 day window for requesting an Internal Review on reference 2407020 has closed, however both references content are relevant in regard to assessing FOI 2407071 so while we would only complete 1 Internal Review on 2407071, 2407020 would also be reviewed at that time.

Hi Paddy, we have provided all HR policies (2407020), as well as the two documents developed for Social Care and Health directorate (2407071). In the latter reference, one of the documents attached was entitled 'Supervision Policy'. I'm unclear how we have not provided a response to your requests in full?
If you feel we do not hold a document that we should, or the documents' contents do not include what you expect it to include, this sounds like a complaint about team practice which you'd need to make to [email address].
We consider this matter concluded from our perspective, unless you clarify that you believe either team didn't release all information held (when they've said to us they have). That would be a matter for IR review. If you can please let us know if this is your intent asap. We are otherwise unable to respond further on this matter. Kind regards,
