A227 roadworks - Late rescheduling failures

Currently waiting for a response from Kent County Council, they should respond promptly and normally no later than (details).

Dear Kent County Council,

I am writing to request copies of redacted communications between yourselves, members of the public, organisations and all contractor firms involved in the roadworks closing the A227 near Meopham station this week for road surfacing.

So as to avoid doubt, the works reference number is GE70288861979.

The reason for seeking this detail is because of the last minute change of closure time that caused total confusion since none of the signs were changed to show the new time until well after the new closure time was in effect.

The workman did not seem to know why, they didn't know the numerous signs had not been updated, adding to the confusion further.

Yours faithfully,

Mark Salter
