Dear Ewan
Many thanks for your email.
In response to your first question certified grades score higher than
predicted grades, and make up up to 50% of the 40%, grades throughout the
degree OR a masters (certified/predicted) make up up to 30% of the 40%,
high school grades make up up to 20% of the 40%.
For question 2 we have provided the table below split by fee status,
showing the average UCAT score for applications, interviews and offers as
we cannot provide a line-by-line breakdown as this would potentially lead
to the identification of individuals and therefore divulgence of their
personal data so please treat this as an exemption under S38 (1) (b) of
FOISA. This is also the case where we have included * in the table, it is
our practice not to divuldge numbers under 5.
I hope that this information is helpful and please let me know if you have
any questions.
Kind regards
Caroline Brown

1. UCAT Total Score data represents UCAT tests undertaken in the academic
year immediately preceding the year of entry, except for deferred
applicants which is two academic years preceding the year of entry.
2. In the 2017 cycle applicants were only tested on three areas of the
UCAT rather than the usual four, and therefore the UCAT Total Scores are
lower than in other years. For this reason, applicants in the 2017 cycle
who deferred to 2018/9 entry have been removed from the Average UCAT Total
Score data so they do not artificially reduce the overall average.
3. * suppressed for data protection purposes (cohort totals less than 5).
