Dear Mr. Bryan

Thank you for your email of 11^th January.

I am afraid that, although we hold the information you have requested, I
cannot supply it to you, though you can find some similar information
already supplied at
[1]https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/a...
(note that this is not necessarily just relating to school leavers). We
estimate that to fulfil your whole request for five years would exceed the
appropriate limit as defined by the Freedom of Information and Data
Protection (Appropriate Limit) Regulations 2004. For your information this
is £450, calculated as the estimated cost of one person spending 18 hours
in determining whether the information is held, then locating, retrieving
and extracting the information. Section 12 of the Freedom of Information
Act 2000 therefore makes provision for public authorities to refuse such
requests.

If you are dissatisfied with this response, you may ask QMUL to conduct a
review of this decision.  To do this, please contact the College in
writing (including by fax, letter or email), describe the original
request, explain your grounds for dissatisfaction, and include an address
for correspondence.  You have 40 working days from receipt of this
communication to submit a review request.  When the review process has
been completed, if you are still dissatisfied, you may ask the Information
Commissioner to intervene. Please see [2]www.ico.org.uk for details.

Yours sincerely

Dear QM FOI Enquiries,

Thanks for your reply.

If you are unable to provide the required information for the last 5 years, please can you provide the information for 2015 and 2014 intakes of A level school leavers only?

Yours sincerely,

Leigh Bryan

Dear Leigh Bryan

I am pleased to provide a response to your narrowed request.

1. In relation to 2014 entry, there were three students who enrolled on
the A100 programme who achieved lower than AAA in his/her A-levels. The
grades were as follows:

+---------------------------------------+
|2014 entry |  |
|--------------------+------------------|
|Applicant 1 |AAB |
|--------------------+------------------|
|Applicant 2 |ABB |
|--------------------+------------------|
|Applicant 3 |ABB |
+---------------------------------------+

In relation to 2015 entry there were eight, although four of these
students achieved A*AB, which hold the same number of UCAS points; the
other four all achieved AAB.

Note that these were these applicants’ three best A-level grades and
excludes Newham Doc Route scheme.

2. Zero.
