Dear University of Exeter,
I was wondering if you could help me with my hopefully relatively simple request.

I am compiling some application statistics in relation to your A100 medicine course over the last 3 years in relation to both domestic and international applicants. I have broken down my request for extra clarity. I would like to know the following:

In regards to your A100 undergraduate-entry Medicine course:

For UK/EU applicants applying for -2019- entry:
The number of applications
The number of applicants who were invited to interview
The number of offers made
The number of final acceptances.

For international (for fee-paying purposes) applicants for -2019- entry:
The number of applications
The number of applicants who were invited to interview
The number of offers made
The number of final acceptances.

For UK/EU applicants applying for -2018- entry:
The number of applications
The number of applicants who were invited to interview
The number of offers made
The number of final acceptances.

For international (for fee-paying purposes) applicants for -2018- entry:
The number of applications
The number of applicants who were invited to interview
The number of offers made
The number of final acceptances.

For UK/EU applicants applying for -2017- entry:
The number of applications
The number of applicants who were invited to interview
The number of offers made
The number of final acceptances.

For international (for fee-paying purposes) applicants for -2017- entry:
The number of applications
The number of applicants who were invited to interview
The number of offers made
The number of final acceptances.

If only partial data is available then I would be grateful for what you have.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Yours faithfully,

Dr Alec Maynard

Dear University of Exeter,

Many thanks for your response to my FOI request - it was very useful.

I note that you did not provide data for 2019 entry due to "low numbers" and because it is subject to change. As far as I understand, the numbers are no different to previous years, and the students who were admitted as part of that application cycle will have started the course almost 3 months ago now. You stated it would not be available until the "end of the academic year" - I unclear when that may be, if not before the date of my request.

Therefore, can I repeat my request for data for 2019 entry now that time has passed. The request was:

In regards to your A100 undergraduate-entry Medicine course:

For UK/EU applicants applying for -2019- entry:
The number of applications
The number of applicants who were invited to interview
The number of offers made
The number of final acceptances.

For international (for fee-paying purposes) applicants for -2019- entry:
The number of applications
The number of applicants who were invited to interview
The number of offers made
The number of final acceptances.

Or alternatively: inform me when data pertaining to those applicants will become available

Or alternatively, I am wondering if there may have been a misunderstanding regarding the applicant cycles being referred to. and the data pertaining to students who have started their course in September 2019 has already been provided, I'd be grateful if data regarding 2017 entry (or what I suppose you would call "2016/7" could be provided. The same data as requested above.

Again, many thanks for your help.

Yours sincerely,

Dr Maynard
