Dear Filip Wilk

Our ref: f2020-037 A100 affiliate admission statistics

Further to your FOI request, set out below, I am responding on behalf of Lucy Cavendish College, as follows:

Lucy Cavendish College does not retain any information relating to applicants who weren't admitted to the College in previous rounds.

To date, Lucy Cavendish College has been a small College for mature women which typically admits one or two affiliate entry A100 students per year, these numbers are so small that it would be easy to connect students to their BMAT scores if released, so this request is being refused on Section 40 40(2) – Personal information, covering the personal data of third parties (anyone other than the requester) where complying with the request would breach any of the principles in the GDPR.

Please note that prospective applicants seeking advice about the levels of BMAT performance they would need to achieve in order to make a competitive application are advised to get in touch with our admissions office, who will be able to help them ([email address]).

If you are unhappy with the service you have received in relation to your request and wish to make a complaint, you should write to me, at the address below.

If you are not content with the outcome of your complaint, you may apply directly to the Information Commissioner for a decision. Generally, the ICO cannot make a decision unless you have exhausted the complaints procedure provided by the College. The Information Commissioner can be contacted at:
