999/101 Call Taker Statistics

Xo Xo made this Freedom of Information request to West Midlands Police

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

The request was partially successful.

Dear West Midlands Police,

I request the following;

- The number of 18 y.o who applied to your last intake (or annual intake) to become a Police Call Handler.

If you cannot provide specifically those for aged 18, It would be sufficient to provide a small range in regard to ages. I would appreciate all efforts to ensure that the 18y/o statistic is maintained, however.

Yours faithfully,
CH.

Freedom of Information,

Dear Sir/Madam,

For a request to be valid, the requester must provide enough of their real
name to give anyone reading that request a reasonable indication of their
identity.

[1]https://ico.org.uk/media/for-organisatio...

Any variation of the requester’s title or first name combined with their
surname (e.g. Mr Smith or John Smith) will be sufficient to meet this
requirement. However, a first name or surname provided in isolation, or a
set of initials, will not.

Therefore, in order for us to treat your request under the terms of the
FOI Act, please supply your name as outlined above. After receiving your
reply, your request will be considered and you will receive a response
within the statutory timescale of 20 working days, as defined by the Act,
subject to the application of any statutory exemptions. If you choose not
to respond then your request will remain unanswered.

Yours sincerely,

Justine Barrett | Freedom of Information Officer
