Thank you for your request dated 27/10/2022 in which you asked for the following
information from the Ministry of Justice (MoJ):

Since 01/01/2020, please provide, about information tribunals:
the date of the hearing the date the judgement was issued where no
judgement has been issued, this should be left blank i.e. convey the
number of outstanding judgements the case reference whether the
appeals failed ( found in favour of the information commissioner ) or
succeeded in favour of the appellant the presiding judge - if you are
unwilling/unable to provide the judge's name, please identify their cases
by 'Judge 1', Judge 2' etc. please provide this in excel format thank you

Your request has been handled under the FOIA.
I can confirm that the MoJ holds some of the information that you have requested, and I
have provided it attached, however, to provide information on
“Why the appeal failed
(found in favour of the information commissioner) or succeeded in favour of the
appellant” as requested would exceed the cost limit set out in the FOIA.
Section 12(1) of the FOIA means a public authority is not oblig ed to comply with a request
for information if it estimates the cost of complying would exceed the appropriate limit
. The
appropriate limit for central government is set at £600. This represents the estimated cost of
one person spending 3.5 working days determining whether the department holds the
information, and locating, retrieving, and extracting the information.
We believe that the cost of retrieving the information on each appeal case would exceed the
appropriate limit. Consequently, we are not obliged to comply with your request.

If you are not satisfied with this response you have the right to request an internal review by
responding in writing to one of the addresses below within two mont hs of the date of this
response.

aspect of your complaint. However, please note that the ICO is likely to expect internal
