8/ ST/063 Anthea Milne Rouken Glen Park Operation of Ice Cream and snack van

ELIZABETH DAVIS made this Freedom of Information request to East Renfrewshire Licensing Board This request has been closed to new correspondence. Contact us if you think it should be reopened.

Waiting for an internal review by East Renfrewshire Licensing Board of their handling of this request.

Dear East Renfrewshire Licensing Board,

Please could you explain why there are two girls trading from the food trailer in Rouken Glen park by the pavilion, both serving customers directly, but only an Anthea Milne has a Street Traders License?

Is Anthea Milne the owner of the food trailer?

Is she one of the girls working in the trailer?

I have already spoken to the girls, so your honest answers will assist.

Yours faithfully,

ELIZABETH DAVIS

Dear East Renfrewshire Licensing Board,

By law, you should have responded promptly and by 20 September 2021 to this FOI request.

As you have failed to comply, I will now request an internal review.

Yours faithfully,

ELIZABETH DAVIS

Dear Abrami, Joe,

My FOI request refers to the Street Traders Licences which need to be applied for to ERC Licensing for anyone over and above the owner of the food trailer (I refer to the one beside the Pavilion in Rouken Glen Park) and the fact there are two members of staff there at any one time. What dates were these STLs applied for as they are not listed on the Street Traders Licenses approved over the past year?

I would therefore like to know why these Street Traders Licenses were not on this list given that the staff in this trailer were already, at the time you sent me the list of Street Traders Licenses awarded, selling food from this trailer.

What dates were their STLs awarded?

Yours sincerely,

ELIZABETH DAVIS

Abrami, Joe, East Renfrewshire Licensing Board

Dear Ms davis,

Thank you for your email , the council does not hold that information. I will pass your allegation of trading without a licence to the enforcement officer for investigation.

Dear Abrami, Joe,

You have failed to respond with the requested information, which by law you should hold, especially as you have stated the Trailer in Rouken Glen Park, beside the Pavilion, was awarded the right to trade there by East Ren Council Licensing, which is yourself as legal advisor and Mr Brian Kilpatrick as Licence Enforcer.

I find it most peculiar, that you could award a pitch via a Tender process, which you have provided, in another request a Tender advert from 2006 for a trailer which only arrived on site in 2021, and to which you have no Street Traders License information for staff of that Trailer.

In other words, you cannot provide any information on the Tender process nor the Staff Street Traders Licences for that Trailer, beside the Pavilion, in Rouken Glen Park via FOI requests.

Yours sincerely,

ELIZABETH DAVIS
