Dear Amanda Hart,
Thank you for your Freedom of Information (FoI) request received on 28 August. You wrote:
“Background: On 27th August 2022 it was reported that Therese Coffey had quietly changed
the rules while MPs were on holiday so they could not debate them to push those with health
problems into work via the intensive work regime.
FoI request: Please kindly provide a copy of the impact assessments carried out to prove
doing the above was safe for those affected.

We are unable to deal with your FoI request without clarification of the information you seek.
To help us do so could you confirm the specific legislative change you are referring to. This
wil al ow us to identify if a specific impact or equality assessment has been conducted.
Under Section 16 of the FoI Act we should assist you in helping you focus your request.
We think that you might be referring to “The Universal Credit (Administrative Earnings
Threshold) (Amendment) Regulations 2022”. This legislative change can be found here

Once you have reviewed this material, we would be grateful if you could confirm if this is the
legislative change you are referring to and then confirm whether you are after an Impact
Assessment or an Equality Assessment.
If this is not the legislative change you are referring to we would be grateful if you could
