Dear Mr Lloyd,
Freedom of Information Request Reference FOI-1415573
Thank you for your request dated 16 August to the Department of Health and Social Care
(DHSC), a copy of which can be found in the accompanying annex.
Your request has been handled under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA).
DHSC holds information relevant to your request, which we are providing in the 12 pdf
documents attached.
In order to respond to your request, officials have searched through emails and shared
folders. Following an extensive search, we are able to provide you with all of the agendas
for the four meetings which took place, all minutes taken, and all briefing materials and
papers that are held on file.
Whilst every attempt has been made to provide you with a comprehensive record of
documents requested, officials that provided secretariat support for the Health Tech
Advisory Board are no longer in the organisation. Some materials may have been tabled at
meetings, and we do not have access to those documents.
Please note that the names of two individuals have been redacted from one of the
attached documents. Personal data of officials below Senior Civil Service (SCS) level is
exempt from disclosure pursuant to section 40(2) of the FOIA, which provides for the
protection of personal information which would not otherwise be available in the public
domain.
It is also worth noting that the documents provided contain views from independent Board
members, and do not represent the views or policies of DHSC.
If you are not satisfied with the handling of your request, you have the right to appeal by
asking for an internal review. This should be sent to
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx@xxxx.xxx.xx or
to the address at the top of this letter and be submitted within two months of the date of
this letter.
Please remember to quote the reference number above in any future communication.
If you are not content with the outcome of your internal review, you may complain directly
to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). Generally, the ICO cannot make a
decision unless you have already appealed our original response and received our internal
review decision. You should raise your concerns with the ICO within three months of your
last meaningful contact with us.
Guidance on contacting the ICO can be found at
https://ico.org.uk/global/contact-us and
information about making a complaint can be found a
t https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. Yours sincerely,
Freedom of Information Team
