Dear Mr Kelvin,

Re: Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 – Request for Information

Thank you for your email which was received by the University on 28 September 2011 timed
09:57 hours, requesting the following information:

“A recent request 'Annual Cost of MyCampus' returned on the 27th of September stated
that the cost of SLP Support and Development Team is £418,000 for the next academic
year (or is this now plan/session/program)?

The university's own SLP page lists 51 staff working on this project. There is of course
an additional number of other staff (IT and Registry) also working on the SLP 'off
balance sheet'. Included on the official list are 27 external consultants whose wage bill
has never been disclosed by the university.

My question is - to what does the £418,000 figure refer to? Please add as much detail as
you have access to and please state any exclusions in your calculation to the
response.”

As the University of Glasgow is a Scottish Public Authority, your request is subject to the
terms of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 (“FOISA”).  The University
acknowledges receipt of your request and confirms a response will be sent to you promptly;
and in any event not later than 26 October 2011.  The Freedom of Information Office will
contact you if we require any further information.

Yours sincerely,
