Statistics
7(d)i
Missed Collections
JR produced figures and a simple graphical representation that showed missed
collections since the start of the contract. These showed the following figures for the
last week
Domestic Refuse – decrease noted from 50 down to 37 reported missed bins this
week. This was within the BVPI target of 42.
Information
Green Box – increase noted from 61 to 65 reported missed boxes this week. This
was above the BVPI target is 31.
Organic – decreased from 54 to 43 reported missed organic bins this week. This was
above the BVPI target of 24.
Information
BVPI of 60 missed per 100,000 collections for all 3 services this week decreased
from 68 last week. Target is 40.
7(d)ii
Rectification Points
Information
JR reported that the total number of rectification points was 1619 for the last week.
There are 100 points believed to be entered for ‘emergencies’ which appear to be
entered in error by the Control Room. If this is true the real figures should be 1519.
JR noted that the graph gave a good pictorial representation of how the contract was
progressing. There is now a significant downward trend that appears to be gradually
levelling off.
8.
Any Other Matters

Rejected Organic Collections
NP reported that TT was at WL Composting with WLWA discussing the number of
rejected organic loads being delivered by Brent. There was a lengthy discussion
concerning where the problem areas were and various ways to tackle the problem.
NP will report the discussion to CW this pm at their weekly meeting with a view to
having a special meeting to discuss this problem.
