Dear Mr [removed],

Access arrangements – Midsummer Common

Repair works have now been completed on the access gate and railings onto
Midsummer Common from Victoria Avenue. The railings have been extended into
the common, to allow vehicles to pull off the highway before opening the gate via the
combination code. Combination code for the gate is XXXX. (Combination to the
padlock if required is XXXX)

This code should only be disclosed to the drivers of delivery vehicles accessing the
common, staff members or those residing at the premises.

Vehicles are permitted to drive from the access gate along the path to the Fort St
George public house and stop outside the property in order to make deliveries or
service the building, parking is not allowed. The gate must be closed immediately
after use.

Under the Law of Property Act 1925, it is a criminal offence to drive a vehicle on
common land without lawful authority. Parking on your own property is of course
permitted.

If you wish to discuss this further, please feel to contact me.

Yours sincerely,
