I would be most grateful if you would provide me, under the Freedom of 
Information Act, the following information regarding your facilities 
management approach: 
 
•Do you outsource Facilities Management? 
 
No - the service is provided in house by the Council Facilities Management Team. 
 
•If yes, whether in whole or in part, to which supplier(s)? 
 
•Are these Total FM, Hard FM or Soft FM contracts? 
 
The service managed internally are both hard and soft FM. 
 
•What is the start date and duration of the contract(s) and what is included in 
each? 
 
•Is there an extension clause in the contract(s) and, if so, what is the duration 
of the extension? 
 
•Has a decision been made yet on whether the contract(s) are being either 
extended or renewed? 
 
•What is the annual value of each contract? 
 
•Who is the senior officer (outside of procurement) responsible for the 
contract(s)?

property/assets including facilities management (CAFM)? 
 
CIPFA Asset Manager and a Bespoke Excel date base. 
 
Elements of the hard and soft FM are sub-contracted where required but managed 
by the internal FM service on behalf of the Council.
