terms of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the FOI Act).
You asked for the following information:
“According to the DTI Select Committee’s Eleventh Report of 1999, an
interdepartmental group named the Horizon Working Group was was established
in March 1998 involving officials from HMT. A second Horizon Working Group was
established in May 1999.
Please can you disclose how many reports in total from these working groups were
received by HMT?
Please can you disclose all reports of the Horizon Working Groups which were
received by HTM in 1999?”
Following a search of our records, we can confirm that HM Treasury does not hold
information within the scope of your request.
Given the age of the material you are requesting, the UK Government Website Archive may
hold information relevant to your request. Since the Horizon Working Group you mention
was an intergovernmental group, you may wish to search with reference to the different
