Thank you for your email of 11 January 2021 requesting the following information:
“Please provide copies of booking on and booking off areas B6 & B7 that lies within the
military training estate as defined by the Aldershot and District Military Lands Byelaws.
I believe it is a requirement for anyone using the lands to book on upon arrival and book off upon
departure and notification is recorded by the South East Operations Room on 01420 483405.
The scope of the request should be restricted to 1st March 2020 to 31st March 2020.
Should the request require limiting to remain within scope of FOIA then I would accept information
for either B6 or B7.”
I am treating your correspondence as a request for information under the Freedom of Information
Act 2000 (FOIA).
A search for the information has now been completed within the Ministry of Defence (MOD) and I
can confirm that all the information in scope of your request is held.
The information you have requested can be found at Annex A but some of the information falls
entirely within the scope of the absolute exemptions provided for at Section 40 (Personal Data) of
the FOIA and has been redacted.
Section 40(2) has been applied to some of the information in order to protect personal information
as governed by the General Data Protection Regulation and Data Protection Act 2018. Section 40
is an absolute exemption and there is therefore no requirement to consider the public interest in
making a decision to withhold the information.
