Please could you provide the numbers, and proportion by percentage, of front line staff who have 
been vaccinated against covid 19 in the first roll out of the vaccine [until 21/12/20] 
 
Our response 
 
At the time of your request, 21 December 2020, the Trust had not received any vaccines so had not 
vaccinated any staff. The Trust was not part of the initial 50 hospital hubs to receive the vaccine. 
 
However, earlier in the week [ending 20/12/2020] we were offered a small number of vaccines by a 
neighbouring first-wave hospital hub, Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS 
Trust (BHRUT).  Following national guidelines, 96 Barts Health staff who were both over 70 and 
clinically extremely vulnerable were contacted by HR to receive the vaccine at BHRUT.
