70 contract providers of CWP workfare?

We're waiting for Frank Zola to read recent responses and update the status.

Dear Department for Work and Pensions,

You mention 70 'contractors' in your FOI 2819 "interim" reply, what are the names of all 70 and which of these contractors are or have been engaged with the Community Work Placement scheme?

In your belated "interim" reply to FOI 2819
https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/c... you seem to imply you ha/d/ve 70 contractors engaged with Community Work Placements (CWP)? What is the name of each of the "70 contracted providers" and which of them had been/are directly engaged only with CWP? Which are the 70 directly held/hold contracts with the DWP for provision of CWP?

When DWP directly had/has a prime contracted provider of CWP, is it not an obligation of the prime provider to retain records of all CWP work placements undertaken by it's subcontractors?

In what month and year do you expect CWP prime contractors to retain details of the work placements undertaken by individual claimants for any contract audit compliance?

Yours faithfully,

Frank Zola

Dear Operations FOI Requests,

"We [DWP] explained that there are 70 separate contracts with providers, rather than 70 separate
providers, who offer work experience placements as part of their provision. These contracts
are held by a number of organizations and this information is in the public domain and was
provided in our earlier correspondence. "
https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/3...

I apologise but I struggle to understand your response with regards the Community Work
Placements (CWP) scheme and your related disclosure of CWP work placement hosts.

FOI 2819's response does not say "70 separate contracts with providers", it said
"I can now confirm that the Department holds some of the information you seek. However it is
not straightforward to pull together because it is held on our behalf by 70 contracted providers"
https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/3...

To help me, can you confirm that all of these "70" as you have now defined them had offered "work experience placements" just for the Community Work Placement scheme?

Are providers contracted to deliver CWP "work experience placements"
https://data.gov.uk/data/contractsfinder...
+CPA the same "70 separate contracts with providers" you refer to in IR48?
https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/3...

Just to make matters explicit and serve the public interest what are the names of providers you hold
"70 separate contracts with" for the provision of "work experience placements"?

Yours sincerely,

Frank Zola
