Thank you for your email of 17 November 2020 in which you asked:
I would like to know which birds are pinioned and which birds are wing clipped by
each of the Royal Parks.
The Royal Parks does not carry out any pinioning or wing clipping on the bird populations
in the parks. There are some non-native birds in the parks which have been pinioned at
birth by their previous owners prior to being acquired by The Royal Parks; the pelicans
which live in St. James’s Park are an example of this.
