Under  
 the freedom of information act I am asking for information on a Unidentified Flying Object (UFO) on the 
8th of J une 2008 when flying over Ministry of Defence St Athan and other Welsh towns. If a video or photos 
can be  
 provided of these occurrences are stil  archived, that would be good.

We hav  e consulted with our Specialist Operations Department who advise that your request for information in 2008 
pre-dat  
es the formation of the National Police Air Service (NPAS) by four years. Prior to NPAS we had the Air Support 
Unit whi ch was a joint unit between South Wales Police and Gwent Police.  
 
 
Unfort  
unately, NPAS does not have a separate video or images retained. 
 
 
The staf f working in NPAS have been consulted along with the duty crew who all confirm they do not have retained 
digital e  vidence from that time.
