Dear Mr Smith,

RE:  FREEDOM OF INFORMATION

I am writing to confirm that I have now completed my search for the information which
you requested on 12 May 2011, namely

“Please supply the documentation sent out with the original Invitation to Tender for the
following Repair and maintenance Frameworks established by NHS Supply Chain:

     Endoscopy - Contract Award Notice 2008/S 234-310827
     Theatres/ITU - Contract Award Notice 2009/S 81-116317
Sluice Rooms - Contract Award Notice 2009/S 112-160934
     Sterilisation - Contract Award Notice 2009/S 129-187920
     Pathology - Contract Award Notice 2009/S 131-190937
     Cardio - Contract Award Notice 2009/S 129-187928
     Radiotherapy - Contract Notice 2009/S 67-096875
     Microscopes - Contract Award Notice 2009/S 227-325618
     Calibration - Contract Award Notice 2009/S 174-250677
     Opthalmology - Contract Award Notice 2009/S 228-327255

The required documentation for each of the above frameworks is as follows:

     Invitation to Offer
     Cover Letter
Terms and Electronic Form of Offer
NHS Supply Chain Standard Conditions of Contract
     Offer Schedule
     Framework Agreements

I need the Framework Agreements to be the final versions if there were any changes
made during the tendering process.

Could you let me know if all of the frameworks established in 2008 have been extended?

Yours sincerely,”

A copy of some of the information is enclosed as a zipped file that you will have to unzip
to be able to view.  I recommend that when you unzip the information you ensure that the
original folder names are preserved.

I am writing to advise you that following a search of our paper and electronic records,
I have established that the Framework Agreement and covering letter for
Theatres/ITU - Contract Award Notice 2009/S 81-116317 is not held by this authority.

The only contract listed in your request which has been extended is Endoscopy -
Contract Award Notice 2008/S 234-310827.

Please be aware that where any redacting (i.e. blacking out) has occured this is because
the documentation sent out with the original Invitation to Tender is not held and, in trying
to be of assistance to you with your request, the version you have been sent is the
returned version which contained  third party information.
