Dear Lee Odams,
Request under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 (FOISA)
Thank you for your request of 17 August 2020 under the Freedom of Information
(Scotland) Act 2002 (FOISA).
You asked for “Coronavirus deaths recorded during this current Pandemic recorded
in Scotland by job sector” and noted a specific interest in bus workers.
Response to your request
The information you have requested is available from page 22 of this report https://www.nrscotland.gov.uk/files/statistics/covid19/covid-deaths-report-week-
and table S7 of the accompanying spreadsheet https://www.nrscotland.gov.uk/files//statistics/covid19/covid-deaths-extra-tables-
Bus workers would come under the category “82 – transport and mobile machine
drivers and operatives” in table S7. It is not possible to break this analysis down into
more detailed occupations because of the small numbers involved.
Under section 25(1) of FOISA, we do not have to provide you with information if it is
already reasonably accessible to you.
