5. What year and month is the next hardware refresh due? 
6. Do you normally purchase equipment and services or as a capital? 
7. Who is responsible for purchasing end user devices such as laptops, 
desktops, tablet, display and accessories? 
8. Please list and provide contact details for the IT senior management team? 
9. Please name all of the IT re-sellers that you work with and buy 
from, as well as the frameworks that you use for the release of any 
tenders etc?

Desktops 4657, Laptops 10096, Smart Devices 7946 
2. In reply to question 1 which department /facility are those located? 
Birmingham City Council CAB buildings 
3. What brand and models do you currently use? 
Lenovo ' L390, L490, M720S L390 Yoga 
4. How much did you pay for each laptop, desktop, tablet and display product ? 
Information not supplied, as it has been obtained by the authority from another 
person/3 rd party and it's disclosure would constitute a breach of confidence. 
We consider that the absolute exemption set out in Section 41 (Information 
provided in confidence) applies to the information requested. Therefore, we 
have decided to withhold the information.
5. What year and month is the next hardware refresh due? 
There is currently no planned date for the next refresh. 
6. Do you normally purchase equipment and services or as a capital? Purchase 
7. Who is responsible for purchasing end user devices such as laptops, 
desktops, tablet, display and accessories ?

As above. 
9. Please name all of the IT re-sellers that you work with and buy from, as well 
as the frameworks that you use for the release of any tenders etc?
Many of Birmingham City Council's IT services have transferred back to the 
Council as from 1st August 2019. Some of the previously outsourced services 
are still retained by Capita Birmingham Ltd who are the provider of the above 
equipment to BCC. BCC typically procure using various Government 
frameworks, including those under Crown Commercial services and G-Cloud.
