Dear Mr. Pani

Freedom of Information Act 2000

I can confirm that some of the information requested is held by Brent Council. I have detailed
below the information that is being released to you.

There are currently 31 public toilets across the Borough in 18 separate locations.
We do not have a specific maintenance budget and so are unable to distinguish exact
maintenance spent only on toilets and cleaning; although an average figure would equal
around £30,000.

We don't pay Transport for London and currently no toilets are out of service.

Whilst we receive reports of antisocial behaviour in our toilets, we do not keep a record of
each specific incident in a database.

If you are dissatisfied with the handling of your request, you have the right to ask for an
internal review. Internal review requests should be submitted within two months of the date
of receipt of the response to your original letter and should be addressed to:

Brent Civic Centre
Engineers Way

If you are not content with the outcome of the internal review, you have the right to apply
directly to the Information Commissioner for a decision. The Information Commissioner can
be contacted at:
The Information Commissioner's Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire,
SK9 5AF.
Phone: 0303 123 1113

I will now close your request as of this date.

Yours sincerely
