Thank you for your email of 20th November 2019 requesting information under the Freedom of 
Information Act 2000.  Please see the responses to each of your questions below: 
I’d like to request information regarding: 
- The total spend on staff and student wellbeing services (or the equivalent department) during 
the 2018/19 academic year. 

The Universities Student Wellbeing Service spend was £1,475,522.   
The Universities spend on staff Wellbeing Services spend was £354,717 
- Are student mental health services funded by the total identified above? Y/N 
Yes – in addition certain types of student support are funded by DSA (disabled students allowance) 
for more information please see 
- If not, could you please identify which departments are responsible for student mental health
