I note you seek access to the following information:
1. How many cases of coercive control were reported this year?
2. What is the same figure for 2018, 2017 and 2016?
3. In how many coercive control cases was the victim a women?
4. And a men?
5. How many persons were arrested for coercive control this year?
6. What is the same figure for 2018, 2017 and 2016?
Following receipt of your request, searches were conducted within Leicestershire
Police to locate information relevant to your request.

With regards to the gender of victims, note that some crimes are recorded with
more than one victim which is why the totals for the numbers of victims and crimes
are different.
Leicestershire Police provides you the right to ask for a re-examination of your
