Dear Mr Fletcher

Internal Review- 6348838 - Traffic studies in Nantwich September 2019

I am responding to your request for an Internal Review of the above request for information. This has
been considered under the Environmental Information Regulations 2004. Your request for an internal
review is detailed below:-
Thank you for the information supplied but I point out that this is not complete.
Firstly there is no report for Queens Drive, as requested.
Secondly there are no documents providing CEC views. The two files contain only raw data and have no
analysis. It is self evident that these exist. It would be most surprising that studies are undertaken and
then there is no view as to the outcome.
I therefore request an internal review of the response.

I am responding to your complaint point by point below:
• Firstly there is no report for Queens Drive, as requested.
• We do not hold a traffic report (ref: 1506-WTR) dated September 2019 for Queens Road (as
originally requested), therefore Regulation 12(4)(a) applies. This regulation provides an exception
when the public authority does not hold the information being requested.
• Secondly there are no documents providing CEC views. The two files contain only raw data and
have no analysis. It is self evident that these exist. It would be most surprising that studies are
undertaken and then there is no view as to the outcome
.
• The only analysis undertaken is contained in the attached chain of emails. Please note that the
names and contact details of junior members of staff have been redacted to comply with the
GDPR. Therefore Regulation 12(3) applies to this information.

If you are not content with the outcome of this internal review, you then have the right to apply directly to
the Information Commissioner for a decision. The Information Commissioner can be contacted at
Information Commissioner’s Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF; Tel:
0303 123 1113; Fax: 01625 524510 or https://ico.org.uk  The Information Commissioner will not normally
investigate your case until the Council’s internal review process has been completed.

Yours sincerely
