Hi both

I know we discussed this briefly when we met with PHE but it now looks as if this has moved on.

While much of this is focused on PHE we have through this to make a response to the comment:
Furthermore, we strongly suggest that Shropshire Council seriously consider the findings of the 2019 Squire v
Shropshire Council judgment which made clear that Council planners could not rely on the existence of an
environmental permit to abrogate their responsibility to carry out an assessment in accordance with the regime for
EIA.

Are you able to provide a response please?

In regards to PHE, have they kept you updated on this and are they making you aware of their response?  If not, can
we follow that up so we are all kept in the loop.

You may already have done this, but I wonder if it is worth a brief conference call and I will need to put together a
summary for Dean and Rob.  I am meeting them on Monday so if I could have a few lines about this I will flag it to
them.

Regard, Rachel
