Thank you for your e-mail of 30 April requesting information under the terms of the
Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA).
You asked:
I would like to request information as to the number of
customer/employee’s prosecuted for committing an offence contrary to
section 45 (1) of the ‘Vehicle Excise and Registration Act 1994’?
This information is not held by the DVLA. The Police or other Government Agencies,
may prosecute offences under Section 45(1) of the Vehicle Excise and Registration
Act 1994.
The information which follows concerns the procedures for making any complaint you
might have about the reply. Please quote the reference number of this letter in any
