Dear Mr Boyle 
 
In response to your request received by us on 26th June 2019, for information under the Freedom of 
Information Act 2000, regarding Longsands Transition Management Board minutes and associated 
papers, we provide the following information. 
 
The Longsands TMB have met five times during this academic year, covering the period requested, 
on the following dates: 
3rd October 2018 
28th November 2018 
16th January 2019 
26th March 2019 
14th May 2019. 
 
Please find attached the agenda, minutes, action trackers and Principals report for all the above 
meetings. In addition to this we have provided the supporting papers for agenda items, which vary 
for each meeting. 
 
For all the above meeting dates, the agenda includes a confidential item for Human Resources 
Updates, which are deemed as confidential by the TMB, due to the personal information of 
individuals and job roles are detailed.  Therefore the details covered by this agenda item are not 
disclosed under: 
Section 40 (1) Personal Information of the FOI Act 2000.  
There is information about staff and personnel issues relating to staff and we have considered the 
application under the FOI Act, Section 40 Personal Information exemption in order to avoid breaching 
data protection principle legislation.  
 
Three further redactions have been made to the documents: 
•  In the Principal’s Report of 28th November 2018, details of a bullying incident have been 
removed where disclosure of these details might make the child or children identifiable. 
•  In the Principal’s Report of 26th March 2019, examples of pupil illnesses have been removed 
where disclosure of a category of sensitive information would be prejudicial to the rights and 
freedoms of the child or children. 
 


 
•  In the Principal’s Report of 14th May 2019, details of a bullying incident have been removed 
where disclosure of these details might make the child or children identifiable
