Dear Descinok

We write further to your request for information under the Freedom of Information Act dated
28 May 2019.  We have set out your request, together with our response below.

I will be obliged to know if there has been any assessment, cost analysis and business case
researched for the construction of a multistory car park in the area of the 'temporary' car park
adjacent to the south side of the hospital's main building.

The Trust has been working closely with an experienced health care developer and
over the last twelve months has explored many alternatives to building a surface car
park.  The Trust and its advisors have looked into building multi storey car parks
within the site, but with this brings other challenges.  At the present time it is felt that
due to timelines the Trust will continue to progress to planning with a surface car park
and are  working closely with the contractors and the Council to address the issues
that have arisen regarding the planning application.  We are also in discussions with
the land owner and are hopeful that we will see a way forward in the near future.

As we have provided the information that we do hold your request is now closed.  We trust
that this is satisfactory but if you are dissatisfied with the way that it has been handled you
have the right to ask for an internal review.  Internal review requests should be submitted
within two months of the date of receipt of the response to your original letter and should be
addressed to:  Geoff Stokes, Director of Corporate Affairs, UHCW, Clifford Bridge Road,
Coventry CV2 2DX.

If you are not content with the outcome of the internal  review, you have the right to apply
directly to the Information Commissioner for a decision.  The Information Commissioner can
be contacted at: Information Commissioner’s Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow,
Cheshire, SK9 5AF.

Yours sincerely
