1. How many directly employed support staff are currently outwith the
scope of the NRPA. Specifical y, how many support staff, how many
lecturing staff and how many other staff including senior staff are not
included in the national bargaining arrangements for the col ege
sector?
Perth College UHI currently employ 17 “other staff” who are currently
outwith the scope of NRPA. Currently, we do not employ any support staff
or lecturing staff that are outwith the scope of NRPA.
2. How does the College determine which staff are outwith the scope of
the NRPA? If there is a procedure or any supporting/explanatory
documentation (e.g. board papers), please attach a copy.
The College determines which roles are outwith the scope of the NRPA by
their seniority in with college e.g. our College Management Team and
Senior Management Team are outwith the scope of NRPA.
3. How many staff have come out of scope in the last year? Who made
the decision to remove these roles from scope. Again, please provide
copies of any supporting documentation.
No roles have “come out of scope” in the last year. Al the roles which are
not in scope for NRPA have never been in scope.
4. If any staff outwith scope received pay rises in the last year, who
made the decision to award these? Please provide a copy of any
supporting documentation.
This has been split between our Senior Management Team and our
Remuneration Commit ee. Our Senior Management Team agree pay
awards for our College Management Team and our Remuneration
Committee agree pay awards for our Senior Management Team.
Papers are prepared for both parties to review and confirm.
