Subject: Freedom of Information request - The link between gold and banknote
From: Mr Majestic <>
To: Enquiries <xxxxxxxxx@xxxxxxxxxxxxx.xx.xx>

Dear Prudential Regulation Authority,

As the link between gold and banknotes had been broken in the 1931 gold standard act.

1. What did the receipt ant (public) get in return for remedy?

2. Where and what happened to the gold that the receipt ant (public) had in the banks?

Yours faithfully,

Mr Majestic
