Q1. Does the council have a current contract or framework agreement in place for suppliers to
undertake DoLS assessments or BIA assessments on behalf of the council? A1. Yes, the Council contracts out its Social Care assessment activity which includes
DoLS and BIA.
Q2. Please provide the name(s) of the organisations providing these services under these such
agreements A2. Livewell Southwest CiC
Q3. Please confirm the start and finish date for any such agreement? A3. The start date was 1 April 2015 and the arrangement ends on 31 March 2020
Q4. Please provide the monetary value applied to any such agreement? A4. The contract does not separate out costs specifically for DoLS
Q5. Please provide the spot purchase price the council pays directly to BIA assessors to undertake
DoLS and BIA assessments? A5. Not applicable
