Dear Ms King
Freedom of Information Act 2000
Thank you for your request for information made under the Freedom of Information Act
(FOIA) 2000, relating to Cleve Hill Solar Park. Please see the attached spreadsheet
and the response provided below in answer to your request.
You asked for full details of all impact assessments, health and safety assessments,
risk assessments and any other assessments KCC undertook in arriving at the
statement it provided at the relevant representation stage in respect to Chapter 14 of
the Environmental Statement.
As is normal practice, it is the duty of the applicant to provide the appropriate
assessments of the impact from their development proposals, and for the Statutory
Consultees to review the information that has been provided. Consequently, KCC does
not hold any specific details of the assessments you have requested.
However, the full text produced by KCC Highways and Transportation to review
Chapter 14 of the Environment Statement is available, and it is this which was
subsequently summarised for the high-level formal response. A copy of this text is
therefore provided for you.
If you are unhappy with this response, and believe KCC has not complied with
legislation, you have 40 working days from the date of this response to ask for a review.
You can do this by following our complaints process; details can be found at this link https://www.kent.gov.uk/about-the-council/contact-us/complaints-and-feedback#tab-7
on our website. Please quote reference 5202965.
If you remain dissatisfied following an internal review, you can appeal to the Information
Commissioner, who oversees compliance with the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
Details of what you need to do, should you wish to pursue this course of action, are
available from the Information Commissioner’s website http://ico.org.uk/concerns
