Thank you for your request for information which was received on 24 January 2019. Please
accept our apologises for the delay in responding to your Freedom of Information request.
Your request Please confirm how many requests the Council received from its workers (broken down by
permanent, contract, or temporary) for reasonable adjustments to be made either in the
workplace or to working practices during 2018.
Please clarify how many of these requests were formally considered in line with Council
policy and giving due consideration to the Equality Act 2010 for each type of worker. Also
please detail how many of these requests actually resulted in adjustments being made for
each type of worker.
Where requests were not considered in line with Policy or in accordance with the Act or a
decision was taken to decline an adjustment, can we please have an overview of the
reasons why for each worker type (without providing case specific information)
Please provide this information on a department basis for the Council as a whole, but if
such a request is considered prohibitively time consuming or costly please provide this
information specifically for your Growth and Place department. Our response This request is being handled under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
