Thank you for your email of 24 September in which you requested the following information:
I would like to know how many of the Snatch Land Rovers are still in service, irrespective of their
current platform configuration. These would be identified by an ERM in the range 25KK45 thru
35KK41 and may now exist in the form of the following platforms.

I am treating your correspondence as a request for information under the Freedom of Information
Act 2000. A search for the information has now been completed within the Ministry of Defence, and
I can confirm that some information in scope of your request is held.
There are currently 154 Snatch 2Bs and 100 Vixens (a snatch variant) in service. None of these are
currently awaiting disposal through Withams or Brightwells.
Under section 16 (advice and assistance) of the Act, it may help if I explain that the plan for the
dispoal of these vehicles has not been finalised, and they might not be disposed of on the open
market.
