August 2018 seeking the following information:
Please state the average and median salary figures for Broadcast/Digital Journalists and Senior Broadcast
/Digital Journalists after the August 2018 pay rise was applied for
- BBC News Division (all staff);
- BBC Network News;
- BBC English Regions;
- World Service;
- BBC Monitoring.
We have understood your request to pertain to the mean and median salaries of Public Service
Broadcasting (PSB) Journalist and Senior Journalist after the 1st August 2018 Annual Pay Award.
In response to your request please see the tables below with the following caveats:
• Data as at 3rd August 2018
• Public Service Broadcasting (PSB) employees only.
• Job title of Journalist and Senior Journalist only.
• Mean & median calculations are based on ful time equivalent base salary.
