Dear Mr Hobson,

Re: FOI 270

Thank you for your email, received by the Greater Manchester Combined
Authority (GMCA) on 30 August requesting an internal review into our
response to your original email received on 30 July requesting information
under the Freedom of Information Act (2000).

You stated in your request for an internal review that a review would seem to
be the appropriate action if you refuse to un-redact information relating to the
name of the individual who made the change on the 20th July to whatever form
of extremism was really involved to ‘anti-fracking’.

I have now had the opportunity to review all the correspondence and
information relating to FOI 270 and I confirm that I am satisfied that the
application of  exemption of 40(2) personal data, in this case was done so
correctly in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act (2000).

If you are not content with the outcome of the internal review, you have the
right to complain to the Information Commissioner.

The Information Commissioner can be contacted at:

Information Commissioner's Office
Wycliffe House
Water Lane
Wilmslow
Cheshire
SK9 5AF

Please remember to quote the reference number above in any future
communications.

Yours Sincerely,
