Hi Philip,

Can't see how their submission to the Home Affairs Committee addresses your request in any way??? This is indicative of the IPCC all over. Defensive, prevaricating, closed, unconvincing and self serving. The fact is that the PALG concerns have not been addressed in any way and the IPCC has, in fact, got much, much worse. The reality is that the police organisations still "love em" and the reasonable "citizen centred" and factually evidenced organisations can't understand them.

Dear Independent Police Complaints Commission,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Independent Police Complaints Commission's handling of my FOI request '4 years after 100 lawyers resigned from the iPCC advisory panel have the iPCC adressed any of concerns those lawers had?'.

I cannot see how Mr. Hunters reply to me a copy of the submission to the Home Affairs Committee addresses my request. Again the accountability and Independence of the IPCC has to be questioned. It is just this sort of attitude that has led to mass protests outside the IPCC London HQ.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address:

Yours faithfully,

Philip Reynolds

I agree totally Tony and I have stated this in my review application.

I have personal 1st hand bitter experience of the IPCC ignoring witnesses, ignoring evidence, & simply handing complaints over to internal Devon & Cornwall Constabulary police professional standards units, who carry out no investiigation at all. (How can they when witnesses are not interviewed!)

There is in my experience a bias by IPCC towards & in favour of covering up police criminality & dishonesty.

I have written an OPEN LETTER to the newly appointed Police & Crime Commissioner for Devon & Cornwall Constabulary concerning the real problem of police corruption & criminality in how police complaints are mishandled & covered up by IPCC & internally by police.

OPEN LETTER to D&C Constabulary PCC may be read here http://pinkpasty.blogspot.co.uk/2012/11/...

(PS: I know what police are sometimes referred to as, but our new Devon & Cornwall Constabulary PCC really is called 'Mr A Hogg'. Absoloutly No joke!)

It's a very good letter Michael and I for one am very sad you had to go through all that. I hope you can get a response and I am interested to see what it is.

Still waiting on Mr A Hogg Devon & Cornwall Police Crime Commissioner & a list of others paid to take responsibility to even bother to reply to OPEN LETTER as to WHY Devon & Cornwall Police buried (despite a FOI request by the person who gave statement) in 2010 a 6hr+ of traumatic & distressing video tape witness/victim statement regarding reported to Cornwall police historic child sexual abuse (inc. by police) & other police criminality & misconduct.

Again & again, the IPCC simply NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE to act on public reported UK police corruption & criminality!

Police; they ARE the criminals we are warned about!

Dear Ms Kelly/Mr Lillis,

Thank you for your reply, I am still considering how I shall proceed next over this request.

Yours sincerely,

Philip Reynolds

Dear Adam Lillis,

I consider this request refused as it is not really addressing what I asked and I consider a gme of semantics is being played.

Yours sincerely,

Philip Reynolds

It really is time to sack these completely unaccountable 'public servants'.

They have a specialised job to do.. so we are told.

That job is to oversee and put to rights the wrongs currently occurring in our supposed police forces, against the public whom they are paid to serve.

It is to deal adequately with each member of the public, who brings a problem as far as the IPCC. (No easy job, for most people.)

It should be to deal face-to-face, to actually investigate the problem, and never to indulge in the usual, paper 'putting off' exercise.

Our money is being fraudulently used in paying people to serve our interests, when they really have no intention of doing so, but seemingly, only in covering up and guarding the backs of corrupt police forces.. which they regard as 'IPCC colleagues'.

I often think that it might just be better to get rid of the lot of them, since they are so determinedly harming us, and just carry a club and form 'protection groups'.. and work again towards actual democracy, rather than the 'Castle of Lies' which is currently in place.

CPR,
I Concur.
ALL 'Public Servants' need to be reminded of their status, that of BELOW/UNDER/ANSWERABLE TO, the Public.
Some Public Servants now appear to believe they are in charge and so can act with impunity.
Some people are working very hard to make these very very well paid Public Servants realise that their job is one of tax payer funded servitude and non other!
Namaste
