Actions from meeting Fri 22 Sep
Hi
(Apologues please can you send to
I did not have his email to hand)

Many thanks for your attendance on Friday, great to meet you and looking forward to seeing the work progress.

Unfortunately
 is currently off sick and
(having been on sick last week) is now on holiday for a week
but am sure normal service will resume shortly! I am available should you have any urgent queries in the interim, or
Sam.

Key actions/notes:
1)  Current regeneration plans/timescales – whilst this was discussed in the session GVA require a plan (ideally)
with key developments mapped out, an Investment Prospectus was shared, but useful to have this mapped
out. In addition require timescales/status on key projects (relevant to this work) snow centre was discussed
at meeting at length.
 to provide
2)  Any other relevant documentation (applicable for background) needs to be sent across to GVA
 to
assess/organise
3)  TMIV – GVA need details of scale/location/timescales etc
is the Project Officer on this so useful for
GVa to discuss with
 to organise discussion
4)  Interim presentation, agreed that KP should be present, this has been diaried but worth asking KP if Deputy
Mayor needs to attend to, in the diary currently NAS/SAM to check
5)  Tourism contacts – are there any which could assist GVA, currently “none” as known internally but this to be
checked NAS to check
6)  Agreed the study was not be site specific (as such) perhaps more based on zones/similar – can advise
throughout early findings MBC
7)  Contract– need to chase contract (have copied
LEGAL into this) Legal to advise on where we are with
this GVA to continue with work

8)  Interim payment/finance – to check re PO status
 to check

I trust this covers the main points. Please do not hesitate to contact me should you require any other additional
information or assistance

Regards

Project Manager

VITA Radio - Supporting Statement
Dear

Please see below Middlesbrough Council’s statement in support of VITA Radio’s ambitions and application.

If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Teesside Media and Innovation Village (TMIV) is an ambitious plan to create an iconic regional destination for
media, digital creativity, learning and leisure to the west of Middlesbrough’s town centre. It is a key project in
Middlesbrough’s Investment Prospectus and wil  create exciting new opportunities for media and digital
enterprises. VITA Radio has a strong business case and is the type of business that we are aiming to attract in
Middlesbrough. TMIV would be an ideal base for VITA Radio in the future and is exactly the type of business we
would be looking to accommodate within the project. It is estimated building work will commence on TMIV in
2019/20 and complete in 2023/24.
